Mr Makki listened attentively on our first meeting and did everything he could to provide me with excellent care, despite Covid constraints at the time. After my shoulder operation was unexpectedly complicated, he explained this clearly and gave reassuring and realistic expectations for my short and longer term recovery. He was supportive and encouraging with my progress and clear about next steps so I am discharged with 95% recovery to a shoulder joint from a younger me and certainty the last bit of stiffness at full extension is lessening day by day. Dr Makki was professional but kind and approachable. He answered my questions well and put me at ease about my shoulder surgery. My shoulder is now back to full mobility but is much more stable than previously.

I can’t recommend Mr Makki enough. The care and attention he gave pre-op was faultless. It was a complicated surgery but he was clear about the possible outcomes from the beginning. He did an amazing job and was able to repair my rotator cuff superbly. The after care was also exemplary.

I am so grateful to Mr Makki and all the NHS staff working on my case. I broke my arm requiring surgery, metal plate and pins to facilitate repair and healing. I cannot fault the care I received. I was treated with respect and felt completely trusting and reassured every step of the way at Watford General, the Fracture clinic in St Albans and the Physiotherapy support in Abbots Langley. I am super impressed by the standard of care and compassion and warmth of everyone I have come into contact with. I was particularly impressed by the time given to me by Mr Makki and his team where I was made to feel very special and had all my questions answered. My arm is healing so well what a journey.
